When starting beetroute Jon and Aukje had to overcome many obstacles. Disillusioned after a former project fell apart, they picked up the pieces and started again. Beetroute is the result. How do you find the positives in crisis and the strength to keep going? A story about determiniation and willpower, this is a personal story that applies to many situations. This one-hour presentation can be used to inspire and motivate your employees, members, friends or family.

Always wanted to hear what life is really like during an expedition? How Africa truly feels, and the Middle East really smells? The hardships of a cycling journey are revealed in this one hour presentation, as are the joys of unexpected meetings and the freedom of travelling. Guaranteed to make you laugh or cry.

‘Be True Seminar’ (in english)

What does it mean to be true? A series of fun exercises, assignments and analogies assist you to break through personal barriers that prevent you from taking the next step towards your dreams, aspirations or goals.

This seminar can be customised to the clients needs. Breaking wooden boards and arrows are potential tools to assist with this seminar.

This media workshop is designed as a crash course for everyone who would like to gain public exposure for a project or business venture.  In this workshop, you will learn how to REACH the news media, how to DEAL with the media, and how to PRESENT yourself to the media and to others through public speaking. Plenty of practical tips on writing press releases and public speaking are included.

The beetroute team’s lives are full of adventure. Physical challenges, like cycling the endless sandy roads of the northern Sudanese desert, and personal challenges, like starting a project from scratch. Jon and Aukje both write about the events in their busy lives, and their thoughts on what is happening around them. They do this on this website and in Newsbeet, but they are just as happy to scribble a unique insight or funny anecdote for your paper, magazine or website. Both have extensive experience in writing journalistic publications.
