We are here!
YESSSSSS!!!! We made it! We arrived at 3 pm in Vinkel, the Netherlands yesterday, where family, friends and press waited for us! We had to cycle pretty fast that morning, to make it in time to Empella, our bikesponsor, where they waited for us with champagne! With a small group, we cycled to De Dorsvlegel in Vinkel, where we YIIHAAAA'D our way accross the finishline! After we passed the baloons ons made our way inside, the maior did a welcome speech, and we did our own beetroute presantation directly afterwards. It was absolutely wonderful to end our journey with the support of so many lovely people. But 'it aint over till it's over'! We will visit all schools this week that have been following beetroute's The SLOW Journey, and will update you again this week.
